Technology Manager - Foil, Film & Ink

A part of Tetra Pak Packaging Solutions, the position is within Base Materials.We strive to continuously adapt and improve our base material supply base in corporation with our suppliers, converting factories and package platforms.
You will lead a group of experienced engineers who are Tetra Pak's competence centre for Foil, Film & Ink.An important aspect of your job will be to continuously develop the competence in line with Tetra Pak's needs.Regular contacts with global suppliers and Tetra Pak's converting factories will require a fair amount of travelling.

Your main responsibilities will be to:

- Lead and develop the Foil, Film & Ink technology group
- Develop and drive the quality strategy
- Manage the technology perspective of the supply base
- Drive continuous improvement of specifications
- Initiate and drive quality and cost improvement activities

You are an inspiring leader with a driven personality and skilled in handling multiple projects.Being an open person with integrity - you build long term relationships throughout the organisation and amongst suppliers.As a role model and a good listener you create a solid team spirit and commitment in your team.

You bring more than three years of industry experience in strategic and technological work with raw materials.You have managerial experience in an international setting.You hold an engineering degree, maybe within chemistry and have a solid technical understanding of raw materials.You are a strong communicator and excel at both spoken and written English.

You will report to Philipp Baumann, Head of Base Materials, Tetra Pak International, Lausanne, Switzerland.





Tetra Pak Supply Chain Operations manufactures packaging material, packaging systems and distribution solutions for Tetra Pak Packaging Solutions.The Supplier Management Supply Chain division (SM SCO) is responsible for the global supplier management process and tools.The division includes Base Material that manages suppliers world wide for supplies of paperboard, polymers, aluminium foil, film & ink.
