Telecom system engineer

Our client in Stockholm is looking for a Senior RBS system engineer, for start in the spring 2007: The successful candidate will be involved in a number of advance projects, including prestudy and feasibility study of products for future radio access technologies. Specific duties include: . RBS Infrastructure related functional requirements analysis and decomposition into subsystems. RBS characteristics requirement analysis, include performance, cost, reliability, etc. . RBS System design; Participate in the work on RBS system architecture definition and decomposition of functional and characteristics requirements to subsystem level. . RBS Subsystem design; Participate in the work on subsystem architecture and design for e.g. baseband, radio, transport, infrastructure, control SW . Performance KPI decomposition. Assessing of future improvements of NE performance management design and algorithms approach. Essential Skills required (as many from list below): . Experience in GSM, WCDMA and/or LTE radio access network system design. . Experience of Network Element with respect to performance characteristics. . Experience in wireless network element Systems engineering. . Good knowledge of 3GPP specifications. Additional skills required (Personality, management skills, team player etc): . Fluent spoken and written English . Good communications and presentation skills . The ability to communicate and work in multicultural team environment Beneficial: . Knowledge of wireless communication system . Knowledge of design or modelling Tools (e.g. UML case tools (RoseRT, Telelogic Tau etc) . Knowledge of wireless network and/or element performance.
