WORLD MARITIME UNIVERSITY Malmö, Sweden The World Maritime University (WMU) was established in 1983 by the International Maritime Organization, a specialized agency of the United Nations.WMU has gained an excellent reputation as a global centre for advanced education, training and research for specialist personnel from the international maritime community.WMU offers Master of Science and PhD programmes.TEMPORARY FACULTY ASSISTANT (12-month contract position) The Faculty Assistant provides administrative and secretarial support to members of the resident academic staff, and also deals with Visiting Professors and students from all over the world, primarily from developing countries.Fluency in spoken and written English is essential, as are effective IT skills (Microsoft Ofyce).Experience of general ofyce work (correspondence, yling, data collection) is required.We are looking for a yexible, responsible person with a mature outlook, who is interested in working in an international, multicultural environment.
