Tenure-track faculty position in Technology & Innovation Management

Arbetsbeskrivning

The House of Innovation at the Stockholm School of Economics (SSE) currently invites applications for a tenure-track position (Assistant Professor level) in Technology & Innovation Management.

We are looking for candidates with a Ph.D. in Business Administration, or a closely related discipline (doctoral degree must be completed before taking up the position). Candidates should have a clear research focus on Technology & Innovation Management. We are particularly interested in candidates conducting research on new product development, open innovation, service design, digital innovation and transformation, digital technologies, strategic alliances, creativity, business models, and intellectual property.

Candidates are expected to have strong qualities in both research and teaching. In research, the successful candidate should exhibit the ability to publish in top-tier peer-reviewed international journals, as evidenced by a promising research and publication pipeline, a presence in the international research community, and publications in leading scientific journals (if available).

In teaching, experience from designing and delivering courses, as well as from coaching student projects, is considered a merit. Ability to teach in an adjacent area (e.g., entrepreneurship, operations) will also be valued. Candidates will be expected to interact and collaborate with faculty from other disciplines and to exercise intellectual leadership in their discipline.

A tentative starting date for successful applicants is March 1. 2020, but we are open to discussing other dates. Salaries are competitive, commensurate with qualifications and experience and are set on an individual basis.
