Test Architect, Scania IT

The Solutions department within Scania IT is responsible for the delivery of software to all of Scania's business areas. In order to keep all solutions available and ensure they are customised to meet business needs, employees within Solutions are actively involved in support, administration and new development projects.

At the section Cross Functional, we have a need to strengthen our group, Order to Delivery (IWCO), with a Test Architect.

Your tasks
As a test architect, you work within the department Solutions at Scania IT. You will as a test architect, together with other architects be responsible to ensure sustainable technological solutions and strategic directions.

Mainly tasks will be:
.Drive test related questions across all disciplines, providing guidance, feedback, and suggestions to improve quality practices
.Work-out test strategy recommendations and follow up and help in the test strategy executions
.To participate in the test architect network within Scania IT is a natural task

Your profile
.Have in-depth knowledge of a variety of testing techniques and methodologies
.Analytic with the capability to see the whole picture and challenges, review and guide in different solutions and methods seen from a test perspective
.Be able to analyze the business needs from a test point of view
.Good communication skills
.Worked as a test architect in a agile (setup) landscape
.Worked with a wide application portfolio and parallel assignments

We expect you to have an academic education in IT and worked for some years in testing with a focus on test architecture. You have a good understanding of the systems development process and its life cycle.

You are able to work independently but are also a team player with a close co-operation with the project team and line organization at Scania IT.

Since we are a global company we expect you to master English very well in both spoken and written.
