Your role
As test automation architect, you will leverage your background in automation engineering to set the strategic direction for test automation in areas of all vehicle functions. Your passion for this space and knowledge of industry developments will enable you to continuously assess how to improve and evolve the team’s capabilities in automating the feature testing.
As a technical leader, you will engage with automation experts embedded within service teams across our entire engineering organization to influence and evolve our automation frameworks, tooling, patterns, test data management, coverage, test reporting, and build pipelines. Your automation engineering background gives you strong instincts on where to focus and prioritize for results.
Main responsibilities
· Play a key role in driving the software test automation strategy
· Setup and Review requirements, analyze and design automation test strategy and test plan
· Design test automation strategy with an eye for quality, load, performance, and availability tests guarantee high quality product features
· Create and document testing strategy , tools and process for testing automation
· Hands-on experience in development and test lab environments of vehicle functions in general and infotainment in particular and demonstrated understanding of product architecture for component testing.
· Good to have ability to write and troubleshoot automation scripts along with other shell scripting and programming experience.
· Ability to conduct disciplined automation testing of product versions in multiple optimization environments.
· Mentor team members in areas of automating test cases
Your profile
Required Skills
· Hands on experience in architecting automated test case on system level and/or component level
· Knowledge of development of automation applications using Python
· Knowledge of automation practices (Continuous Integration and Delivery, Tools such as Jenkins/Bamboo/Chef)
· Hands on Expertise in agile delivery, life-cycle management tools (JIRA/Rally/Rational Concert/Quality Center), software-testing standards, methods and conventions.
· Knowledge of frequently used test tools (i.e. DVA, CANalyzer, Canoe, DSA) is meritorious
· Experience in Automotive Infotainment systems is meritorious
· Fluent in English (written and spoken)
· Fluency in Swedish is meritorious
· General knowledge of base technologies within HW/SW Platform is meritorious

· You have good communication and social skills
· An agile mind-set is required
· Shall have good cooperating and team working skills. Additional emphasis will be placed on spirit, social skills and social sensitivity (communication and empathy)
· You have big interest in automation
· An open mind with a willingness to share knowledge and experience
