Test Development Engineer, High Frequency Our customer is a manufacturer of compact, tunable lasers, used in the latest generation fiber-optic networks.They are located in Kista and the development team, consisting of 10 Ph.D's and 5 Masters, together represent more than 150 years of tunable laser experience.Responsibilities As test development engineer HF, you will be responsible for the implementation of tunable transmitter testing at speeds up to 10Gb/s.The company's tunable laser transmitter is used in the latest generation fiber-optic networks, where only the highest performance components are used.We therefore take great care in meeting customer specifications, and the development testing is an important part of our product development. You will be responsible for: . Design of 10Gb/s test procedures and algorithms, working with proprietary laser test software.. Implementation of test systems using the latest in optical and electrical high frequency test equipment.. Verification and analysis of product performance, interacting closely with the laser design team. Qualifications . Masters Degree in Physics or Electrical Engineering required; . 0-2 years working experience; . Experience in microwave testing and design is a requirement; .Experience in test of optoelectronic components is a plus; . Experience in Matlab and C++ is a requirement and experience in .NET/C# is a plus; Personality . You are an independent contributor with a hands-on mentality; . You are fluent in English, both orally and in writing;
