Test Engineer to Clavister
Clavister AB is a leading developer of high-performance IT/IP security. The products, based on unique technology, include carrier-class firewalls and VPN solutions. They have been awarded preferred choice by international press and are in use today by thousands of satisfied customers.

Clavister was founded 1997 in Sweden. It's Research & Development and headquarters is situated in Örnsköldsvik and is in a phase of international expansion. Clavister needs to expand its Research & Development department with a skilled test engineer who will be working primarily with test and verification activities of Clavister's products for network security. The position is based in Örnsköldsvik, Sweden.

Job Description
The role involves test activities, scripting/programming of test cases/environment, defect verification, supporting other departments with test activities etcetera.

Who are you?
Ideally you have a relevant university or post gymnasium degree combined with some years of working experience in a networking and/or IT security environment, possessing a thorough understanding and experience in TCP/IP-based network communications infrastructure. You have the ability to quickly learn new technologies and software and like to test and analyze solutions. Experience in programming, scripting, databases and Linux would be an advantage as is practical experience compared to theoretical.

You need to be quality oriented and understand the customer's perspective, be able to work in a group as well as independently with minimal supervision, have good technical skills and the ability to take ownership of issues and ensure that they are resolved in a timely manner.
