Test engineer for Apple

About the role
We are currently seeking four individuals with strong Test Engineering skills to enable innovative and customized manufacturing test solutions. You will have the opportunity to work on the most exciting new technologies at Apple. You will engage cross functionally with engineering, operations, and business organizations to deliver test systems and processes that are repeatable, cost effective, and critical to customer experience. All the resources will be allocated for 1 year and office location will be Lund.

The position is full time and the daily working hours are from 8am to 5pm. The employment contract will be signed with Adecco. The duration of employment is for about one year. The work starts immediately when suitable candidate is found.

In the role as Test Engineer your main duties will involve:

• Execution of systematic and functional tests for different mobile device types like Smartphones and wearables
• Operating with mobile network simulators, creating and optimizing specific mobile network scenarios
• Executing tests in both Lab and Field environment
• Analysis of test environments, test specifications, system design and test cases
• Test execution and analysis on protocol level about the performance of a device under test
• Test documentation and reporting - error handling

About you
We are looking for individuals with the below requirements:

• You have Degree in telecommunications, electrical engineering, computer science or related discipline
• Good knowledge of relevant standards and protocols in mobile networks (GSM, UMTS, LTE, 5G, VoLTE, VoWiFi)
• You have experience in analyzing protocol-level behavior based on industry standards and specifications (e.g., 3GPP, IEEE, GSMA).
• You have experience in handling modem logging tools (e.g. QXDM, XCAL) and ability to understand basic network call flows
• Excellent communication skills in spoken and written English (as everyday business is run in English)
• You have driving license with corresponding driving experience
• You have the ability to work in a team and are willing to travel.
• Responsible, reliable, motivated, organized, proactive, self-driven and learning oriented
