Volvo Construction Equipment, a business area within the Volvo Group, is one of the world's leading manufacturers of construction equipment such as wheel loaders, excavators, articulated haulers, road development equipment and compact equipment. Production facilities are located in Europe, Asia, North America and Latin America. Testing Department in Eskilstuna is responsible for functional testing, verification of components and complete machine. Challenges exist among other things increasing customer requirements according to features, function, quality and development of testing methods to have an effective and quality assured end product. The development is conducted in comfortable climate in focusing on a cross-functional approach. Main Roles and Responsibilities: Testing of engines auxiliary system (cooling- , inlet- and exhaust system) or Testing of transmissions You will work with Advanced Engineering, Product Maintenance and Projects Plan and effect testing activities in test rigs or complete machine Verification tests and problem solving at customer site. Work as ?Flying Engineer? in our field test program Development of test methods together with rig responsible and technicians Competence Master of science in engineering or equivalent experience Experience from Testing/Development of engines or transmissions Experience from driving testing activities and work both independently and by your own Good communication skills Good knowledge on Volvo products Proficient in written and spoken English is required Knowledge in computer equipment and measuring instruments Experience and/or willingness to operate machine to be able to evaluate machine functionality
