Description

The client is driving a massive transformation both within the business and within the IT organization. They want to make every day easier for people. With dramatically increased volumes in parallel with customer demands that are changing the way they operate they must increase our pace even more. IT Cross Border needs a Test Manager in the Cross Border Customs team to ensure the quality and secure stability in IT deliveries and legal compliance.

Work tasks:

- Ensuring the appropriate planning and management of the test resources.
- Identifying training requirements and providing necessary training to the test team.
- Ensuring that documentation for manuals, applications, processes, and integrations are valid and up to date.
- Ensuring testing documents and artifacts are created and maintained, for example test summary report and regression checklist.
- Transforming high level business demands into user acceptance test (UAT) and test management.
- Creation of test plan and review of test cases.
- Assessing the progress and effectiveness of the test effort.
- Coordinating integration and end to end testing.
- Automation framework design.


Mandatory competence and experience:

- Bachelor’s degree in information technology, software engineering, computer science, or related field.
- Multiple years’ experience in the role as Test Manager or similar
- Knowledge of test process and setup of automation tests.
- Excellent technical, diagnostic, and troubleshooting skills.
- Excellent analysis and documentation skills.
- Very good verbal and written English communication skills.
- Knowledge of Agile methods.


Preferred competence and experience:

- Experience in customs.
- Experience in logistics.
- Experience in SAFe.
- Experience in Scrum/Kanban.
- Experience in Jira/Zephyr Scale.
- Experience in Postman.
- Understanding of different integration methods, e.g., XML.


Preferred personal qualities:

- Proactive and self-going.
- Likes challenges and a fast pace.
- Excellent team player.
- Good presentation skills.
