ABOUT THE COMPANY

Our client works with battery manufacturing for electric cars with a strong environmental focus. ABOUT THE JOB
You will join a team of test engineers with multiple knowledge areas such as mechanical, electrical, chemical, etc. The main role will be on designing, manufacturing and give support to develop test rigs for the product validation. The role also contemplates giving support to setup systems, sensors (such as thermocouples, thermistors, accelerometers, etc.) data acquisition hardware, test execution and data analysis. You will be the person who will be involved in all the small details of our tests and acquire a huge experience with our awesome products!

Your key responsibities will include, but are not limited to:

• Manufacturing electrical and mechanical prototypes for our battery trials and tests, including electrical cabinets, test rigs and cable harnesses.

• Assist in preparation and execution of Verification & Validation tests (electrical, mechanical, thermal, chemical, etc.).

• In collaboration with the Quality and Engineering teams, ensure manufactured prototypes are according to standards and specifications.

• Prepare and handle sensors such as thermocouples, thermistors, accelerometers, strain gauges, etc.
•

• Setup data acquisition equipment for system tests (electrical, mechanical, thermal, etc.).'
• Secure and set up work area, including tools, equipment and a stock of standard components, in collaboration with the manufacturing team, to proceed to the above work.

• Build own network of supply partners, with the help of our Supply Chain, to secure quickly components for prototype build.

• Intervene at 3rd party locations, such as suppliers, customer or test facility, to help fix and set up test systems.

QUALIFICATIONS
To succeed in this job you'll need:

• 2+ years in electrical/mechanical prototyping, industrial manufacturing or maintenance context with proven hands-on experience.
• Hand-on experience or formal qualification in. electrical/mechanical/manufacturing field (engineering degree not required).
• Confident in all aspects of testing; Set up, managing tests/communicating requests to external parties, collecting results.
• Excellent English, both written and oral. Swedish is a plus.
• LabView experience, high voltage training and safety awareness a big plus.
