As a Textile Engineer at Pierce, you will work in a constantly growing team with 10 talented and committed colleagues who will support you in your development. The team works with quality, design and sourcing. Your focus will be on their softline products, and make sure that the finished product and that the technical specifications are up to speed. You will secure that all the relevant testing standards are followed and approve all new product quality inspections. You will also play an important role since you will be responsible for the dialogue with the supplier throughout the new product development process

This is a consultant assignment through Academic Work. Pierce intends to take over the recruitment after approximently 12 months if all parties are satisfied with the cooperation.

ARBETSUPPGIFTER
You will, among other things:


* Support with your expertise in material composition, product functionality and quality requirements
* Partner with the Project leader on new product development planning documents, update technical documentation in compliance to all relevant EU regulations
* Responsible for the technical content of product specifications
* Responsible for risk analysis of private brand’s product segment
* Review and approve design inputs, labelling, design outputs and validation reports.


VI SÖKER DIG SOM
- At least 1 year experience in quality management and/or product development, creating product specifications and evaluating product quality
- Higher vocational education, preferably in Textile Engineering
- Knowable about CE norms for garments
- Knowable about fabrics and garment fitting
- Fluent proficiency in English

Meritorious qualifications


* Proficiency in Swedish in spoken and written format
* Experience working in an international environment
