Thermal cooling technologies research engineer

Job Description:

We are looking for a thermal research engineer, to take on the challenge to design our future cooling concepts, on concept investigation level and on system level within telecom products

We expect this engineer to be responsible for a management of technology studies in the electronic and mechanical cooling design area . The position will also include responsibility of Thermal analysis of various equipment including requirement specification analyses.

The work will be done in very close cooperation with our system teams.

Required skills:

We expect the candidate to have experience on thermal design of telecom equipment, specifically cooling of electronics and a wide experience of CFD programs like : Ice Pack, Flotherm

We also expect expertise in conceptual design of equipment and comparison of various thermal solutions from both a cost and functionality perspective.

The candidate can of course communicate fluently in English, both verbally and in writing

We expect that the candidate to work independently as well as in a team

Experience of work in research organizations driving research activities with a time horizon of 3-5 years.
