Who are we?
We are Region Norrbotten. A county situated in Norrbotten in the northernmost part of Sweden, constituting a quarter of Sweden. Region Norrbotten provide healthcare and dental care, and support research and education. We contribute to the development of Norrbotten, and work with culture, public transport and regional cooperation. The county has five hospitals situated in Luleå/Sunderbyn, Kalix, Piteå, Gällivare and Kiruna, 25 healthcare centres and 23 dental clinics.
Region Norrbotten serves the residents of Norrbotten. We are governed by the residents of the county through general elections. Our activities are characterised by creativity and innovation. The long distances in our county is constantly pushing us to develop new and modern solutions, for instance, our IT solutions within healthcare are considered one of the leading in Sweden. We have two well established research programmes within cardiovascular disease (MONICA) and obstructive lung disease (OLIN) and new exciting research is taking place in other areas.
Region Norrbotten has approximately 7,300 employees and we need to expand. We are looking for the following skills for some of our hospitals, healthcare centres or dental clinics in the county:
-Physiciansfor example general practitioners, child psychiatrists, emergency doctors, radiologists and rheumatologists
- Nurses for example radiographers, psychiatric nurses, nurses in pediatric medicine and nurses with further education in theatre care, anesthesia or intensive care 
- Dentists and dental nurses
- Biomedical scientists/analysts, occupational therapists, physiotherapists, audiologists, midwifes, psychologists and medical secretaries and more.
