The CAD Coordinator is part of the engineering service within the RD&E organisation of the EUSA Operating Unit.
MAIN TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Work in accordance with TISIX, the Constant Innovation Policy, Project Handbook, ISO TS16949 (Quality management system) as well as existing internal policies & procedures applying to RD&E
Manage the design, development, and validation of the product/ product standards to respect customer specifications, supplier demands and TitanX internal requirements (QCD frames)
Create the necessary technical documentation for each component and module in the projects (CAD 3D-models, 2D-drawings, BOM, DVP&R, …)
Ensure respect of existing standards and specifications in the design work. In case those standards or specifications cannot be fulfilled, the application engineer makes sure to, in accordance with existing procedures, get an approved de-standardization request. When applicable, updates to existing standards are proposed
Manage and in some cases perform calculations/simulations (thermal performance, FEA, CFD...) for optimization purpose. In cases simulations are performed on its own, before distribution of results, the engineer makes sure the results are reviews by a specialist
Develop, deliver and implement the necessary reliability tools, such as Lessons Learned, Design and Installation FMEAs, Functional Analysis, DVP&R and Design Reviews
Perform Value Analysis, DFA/DFM and Design To Costs
Initiate simulation-, test- and prototype requests
Write DV-reports (to be approved by N+1 manager before distribution)
Coordinate design changes (Engineering Change Management)
Evaluate and approve prototypes and/ or mock-ups before delivery
Take part to the evaluation and approval of the PPAP for in-going parts, components and modules
Participate actively in reaching the objectives for the RD&E department
Participate in continuously improving the project and department procedures



REQUIREMENT PROFILE
Minimum Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent. At least 5 years’ experience in the field.
Knowledge in especially design, thermodynamics, heat-transfer and structural strength
Proven computer skills, especially CAD, CATIA V5 and MS Office
Communicates fluently in English, both in speech and in writing. Swedish and/ or German are a plus
The position is based at our site in Mjällby, Sweden. Swedish or European working permit is an advantage. We also encourage and welcome female candidates.
