UCG/ Radio Support is a consulting company specialized in support to the telecom and electronics industry.Mostly in the design/verification and test/industrializing areas.We have an office at Kista in northern Stockholm but are operating all over Sweden.Through UCG recruitment we also help companies with permanent staff.All our openings require at least three years work experience from the IT business. This assignment entails working on-site, on customer premises in Stockholm Maintain and support the Symbian development environment and tool chain In a responsible way manage everything from requirements gathering, development, test, documentation, roll-out and training Handle issues regarding developers' licenses Support small teams of developers in their daily work as well as in times of new releases Trouble-shooting of complicated issues Required competence (need to have) Solid experience from integrating and maintaining development tool chains/environments Programming skills using Java and Perl (Eclipse and JUnit) Software configuration management skills License management skills using FlexLM Basic knowledge in SQL Trouble-shooting skills Build expertise, make Understanding of metrics and gathering of statistics regarding development work Candidate must also be a good team player with attention to detail, self-disciplined, able to manage their own time and workload, proactive and motivated Candidates shall have good written and verbal communication skills in Swedish as well as English Symbian (OS and tool-chain) and ClearCase/ClearQuest expertise Ability to develop plug-ins for Eclipse Agile Development experience, continuous building etc Basic understanding of model based design using UML Build expertise, SymbianOS abld Rational Rose, Visual Studio, Borland Architect Database management SQL, Hibernate Comfortable web designing ability To achieve a more even gender distribution among our consultants we are positive to female applicants.We would like applicants to submit a detailed CV in Word-format.In this ad we are primarily looking for employees, but we also invite persons operating their own companies to apply.We decline approaches from recruiters and other sales persons.
