Grid Integration unit support customers in creating stronger, smarter and greener grids adapted to meet the needs of the changing power landscape. Our system solutions are designed and delivered to provide the highest lifecycle value with the lowest risk.
In this role you will be responsible to drive the Logistics department strategy to support the goals of the business and continuously optimize the operation by effectively managing the staff, processes and tools. You will be part of the Supply Chain Management community and the location of the team is in Västerås, Sweden.
Your responsibilities
Ensure project timelines and transportation budget are met.
Manage, lead and develop staff members to achieve departmental goals.
Full accountability for inbound and outbound logistics in projects.
Ensure the service quality and department productivity levels.
Ensure the understanding and utilization of the Global Agreements and the invoicing audit process.
Ensure compliance of shipping with all local and Global Regulations.
Ensuring that procurement routines for transport services are complying to the Global Directives along with the cost reduction mindset.
Seeking new solutions, innovations to review and improve current processes.
Manage the third-party warehouse, including receiving goods, packing, transfers, transportation and stock.
Work cross-functionally to ensure T&L processes are known and followed by the internal customers.
Identify, maintain and report monthly KPIs as required.

Your background
You have master’s or bachelor’s degree in an engineering discipline or business administration
Good communication and networking skills as well as strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Demonstrable ability to lead and manage staff
Strong sense of ownership and entrepreneurial attitude
Experience working in logistics, warehouse, or transportation operations
Previous work experience as a Logistics Manager and preferably in a project environment
Technical interest and ability to solve complex problems independently
Fluency in English, written and verbal, is a requirement
