Responsibilities
As a Travel Manager you follow-up and ensure implementation of travel strategy and procedure. Also included in the position is responibility for travel related content on the main global intranet.
You will identify, prepare and propose projects related to the area and maintain the global travel policy for Sandvik Materials Technology.
In this role you also prepare and support category lead for RFPs in area of expertise.
Select and onboard (evaluate and approve) strategic and or preferred suppliers.
You will create and ensure implementation of contracts and support contract compliance and use of contracts.
Initial work location in Sweden; Sandviken or Stockholm
Qualifications
This role requires solid experience from travel management or equal experience from the travel industry.
You also have a University degree in a relevant field or equivalent knowledge from work experience.
We put great emphasis on your personal skills. This role requires excellent communication skills in English, with ability to communicate within a large organization with international stakeholders.
You have an analytical and problem-solving mindset; you are self-motivated and can work independently as well as lead and coordinate different work groups of different cultures.
