We are now looking for a Treasury Specialist to our customer for a temporary position to 2023-03-31 with good chances of extension.

In this position you are responsible for part of Treasury Services in Region Europe according to relevant accounting principles, regulations and standards. You will be part of a European team and will have colleagues.You will report to the Team leader for Treasury Services Europe and will be based in Gothenburg, Sweden.

What you will do
• Responsible for own daily Treasury Services activities within the region such as Payment runs, Liquidity planning, Treasury accounting activities and Reporting to Group Treasury
• Responsible for delivering the Treasury services aligned with the agreed global framework
• Accountable for master data bank account, payments, banking admin, reporting of currency exposure and liquidity forecast within region
• Accountable for that the daily treasury activities are conducted accurately, ethically, consistently, and according to relevant accounting principles, regulations, and standards
• Accountable for building relationships within area of responsibility (internally) and manage ongoing relationships to ensure the organization receives satisfactory standards of service
• Contributing to development of new and/or improved services, tools, and processes within Treasury Services areas of responsibilities.

Preferable you have:
• University Degree or similar in finance
• 1-5 years Finance or operational Treasury experience
• Experience in accounting and payment activities
• Experience in new digital ways of working
• Have high level of service and internal / external customers in focus
• Able to collaborate cross-functionally
• Fluent in verbal and written English
• Preferably you have international work orientation or experience

Furthermore, to be successful in this position, we see that you are experienced and have great self-leadership skills. You need to be both an initiator and a doer and both work independently with your own tasks as well as engaging with your team to deliver mutual tasks. We put great value in your personality, and for this role we see that you are someone who takes responsibility and is accountable. You set ambitious targets and act with speed and quality. As you will work within the European team and collaborate with colleagues globally, being a team player would make your daily work easier. Also, you should be a good communicator; someone who can convey a message, inspire, motivate, and influence others.

About the employment
The position as Treasury Specialist is a consultant assignment with location in Gothenburg, starting as soon as possible and will initially be ongoing for 12 months. For the right person, this assignment could be extended and even recruited to our customer. As a consultant you are employed by Adecco Sweden AB.
