Technogarden är ett konsultföretag som erbjuder tekniska resurskonsulter samt rekryterar specialister och chefer till teknikbolagen i Norden.Vi ingår i Norconsultkoncernen som är Norges största rådgivande ingenjörsverksamhet.Technogarden är idag 260 anställda och vi växer kraftigt.Job description Design products based upon customer specifications as well as apply existing products to meet customer specifications.This means you will Support both internal and external customers in new design or application proposals, or problem solving in existing installations.Examples of duties and responsibilities: * Receives product application enquiries from existing and potential customers and consults with customers to obtain full details as necessary * Communicating with customers from the initial specification through to design freeze. * Define concept proposals, technical specification, cost and manufacturing feasibility and completing tasks in a timely manner. * Perform technical calculations related to stress, strain and stiffness and define tests to prove that design will meeting customer requirements. * Determines product application solutions using a combination of experience, manual calculation and computer programs.Either provides solutions with existing products or variations thereof or provides data to Product Design for a new product.Raises cost enquiry forms for new products. * Understanding the implications of detail design with respect to manufacturing methods and processes to enable cost/time effective product manufacture.There will be some traveling both national and international to visit customers for technical discussions and to measure performance on mounting systems supplied by Trelleborg Industrial AVS. Qualifications We are looking for a person with excellent communication skills who is analytical and target- oriented.You are self-motivated and able to work on own initiative as well as part of a team.You have probably a technical degree in Mechanical Engineering or similar with significant 3D CAD experience.Ideally you are competent in and familiar with design/function/application of rubber-to-metal bonded components used for anti-vibration and suispension applications in the Rail, Marine, Off Highway, Industrial and Defense markets.
