UCG/Radio Support is a consulting company based in Kista in northern Stockholm. Regardless placement you will be employed by UCG, with Swedish salary and benifits.
The Consultant role
As a consultant you may be placed at different customers. UCG will assist with extra training when needed. As a consultant we need you to be flexible and to easily adapt to a new environment.
Education/training
Our roles requires a basic technical education, sometimes university level.
Experience
We require at least 3 years of relevant job experience for all roles, mostly more.
Required experience for this role:
• A passion for quality and automation.
• 6+ years’ experience in software testing or related field.
• Experience in working in Linux/Unix systems
• Python skills
• Experience in test frameworks and tools like Robot framework, Selenium
• Experience interacting with continuous integration tools like Jenkins, Gitlab
• General network and wireless knowledge: TCP/IP, Firewall
• Very good English skills in speaking and writing
• CI/CD developments discipline experience
Work language: English
Meriting
• Perl and JavaScript skills
• Docker, Kubernetes or other relevant container technologies
• Excellent written, communication and interpersonal skills, with meticulous attention to detail that extends beyond written and verbal communication.
• Experience with writing test scripts using web service protocols such as REST, HTTP, XML, and JSON.
• Experience with various client-side scripting technologies such a JavaScript, Angular JS
Job Description
• Design, develop and execute System testing, Manual testing, Field application testing and Acceptance testing
• Interacting with ticket system Identify, record, document thoroughly, and track bugs and carries out the task according to that system’s prioritization.
• Perform thorough regression testing when bugs are resolved
• Develops scripts and automation tools used to build, integrate, and deploy software releases to various platforms
• Drive towards a high pass-rate of automated tests execution laying out a path of reliability and consistency in results
