UCG/Radio Support is a consulting company based in Kista in northern Stockholm. Regardless placement you will be employed by UCG, with Swedish salary and benifits.


The Consultant role
As a consultant you may be placed at different customers. UCG will assist with extra training when needed. As a consultant we need you to be flexible and to easily adapt to a new environment.
Education/training
Our roles requires a basic technical education, sometimes university level.
Experience
We require at least 3 years of relevant job experience for all roles, mostly more.


Required experience for this role:
- More than 5 years’ experience in quality assurance and test automation of embedded systems and telecom products
- Experience from test automation in Python or TCL, and manual testing in a lab environment
- Used to read standards and requirements and see how the product should be tested
- Developing test plans
- Able to document, manuals and test descriptions
- Experience working in an Agile development environment
- Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, IT or equivalent experience

Your tasks:
- Work as a system tester in the telecom industry
- Testing in the embedded area
- Report, investigate and follow up defects.
- you will encounter things like WDM, coherent multiplexing, ITU-T, IEEE, SDN, TCP/IP, Ethernet and/or OTN
- Agile testing
