UCG/Radio Support is a consulting company based in Kista in northern Stockholm. Regardless placement you will be employed by UCG, with Swedish salary and benifits.
The Consultant role
As a consultant you may be placed at different customers. UCG will assist with extra training when needed. As a consultant we need you to be flexible and to easily adapt to a new environment.
Education/training
Our roles requires a basic technical education, sometimes university level.
Experience
We require at least 3 years of relevant job experience for all roles, mostly more.
Required experience for this role:
- More than five years of meaningful work experience in SW development
- Willingness to broaden your competence and get a deeper understanding of our products
- Good knowledge and experience in programming using object-oriented languages (C++) and Java
- Good knowledge on HW near programming
- Good Competence in Linux
- Familiarity with Jenkins, GIT, Eclipse, Vscode
- Good understanding of continuous integration, test and troubleshooting skills in the radio domain
- Working with people, networking, facilitation skills. Teamwork and collaboration skills
- Excellent technical communication skills, both written and oral

About the position:
• Work as C++ developer to develop and maintain telecom applications
- Work in a cross-functional team with responsibility from pre-study to release and Customer acceptance for new functionality.
- Do SW development in C++ in a complex system architecture with SW and HW components
- Work in a sophisticated system as well as fix difficult problems
- Contribute with competence in the following areas: Software system design, Architecture principles
-Test automation, preferably using Java
