UCG 040104 Test Developer Embedded

UCG/Radio Support is a consulting company based in Kista in northern Stockholm. Regardless placement you will be employed by UCG, with Swedish salary and benifits.
The Consultant role
As a consultant you may be placed at different customers. UCG will assist with extra training when needed. As a consultant we need you to be flexible and to easily adapt to a new environment.
Education/training
Our roles requires a basic technical education, sometimes university level.
Experience
We require at least 3 years of relevant job experience for all roles, mostly more.
Required experience for this role:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or another relevant degree
- Experience with test for embedded system with dependencies towards a larger system
- Experience with test automation for continuous testing during development (HIL)
Working language: English
Wanted competence
- Experience with test of Safety-critical products and related processes/way of working (EN50128 or e.g ISO 26262 / IEC 61508 / IEC 62279)
- Experience with Test Framework development (Python, C, Git)
- Experience with Troubleshooting Embedded SW/HW during the development process
- Experience with Test Rack Development
- Experience with IBM Tools such as Doors, Rational Change, RTC
- Knowledge about Electric Motors and their specific behavior of different types (1ph, 3ph, DC, synchronous, asynchronous)
- Experience with HW Test for low voltage electronics and electronics up to 400VAC (HW Test in General using Oscilloscopes etc., Failure Mode Tests, Design Tests)




About the position:
- Working as test developer with manual and automated tests
- Understand Requirements(HW, SW, System) and transform them into Test Cases
- Understand Existing Test Cases and improve Requirement Coverage and Testability/Repeatability
- Implement/Script Test Cases on System and System Integration Level for Test Automation (Python, C)
- Understand the interfaces and dependencies of the system towards its environment and define additional exploratory test cases to secure quality and availability of the system
