UCG 052802 Senior QA Engineer

UCG/Radio Support is a consulting company based in Kista in northern Stockholm. Regardless placement you will be employed by UCG, with Swedish salary and benifits.
The Consultant role
As a consultant you may be placed at different customers. UCG will assist with extra training when needed. As a consultant we need you to be flexible and to easily adapt to a new environment.
Education/training
Our roles requires a basic technical education, sometimes university level.
Experience
We require at least 3 years of relevant job experience for all roles, mostly more.


Required experience for this role:
• Several years of hands-on experience of quality assurance
• experience in software development as a tester, ideally on IoT products. You have tested mobile devices.
• You are interested in complex, full stack projects (from web UI, to mobile implementation to backend services)
• You have experience implementing quality improvements in an agile development environment
• You have experience in testing OTA SW updates
• You feel comfortable using existing test scripts for automated or semi-automated tests
• You are used to debug with help of log files or any other logging tool
Fluent in English (spoken and written)

Your tasks:
- The specific role is to work as a Senior Quality Assurance Engineer.
-You will be part of a multidisciplinary team and work together to increase confidence on the product quality
-You will perform mostly manual testing on IoT systems
- will define test methods and create test cases
-You will troubleshoot issues and work closely with developers, product and design to build features with good quality
-You will define and perform compatibility tests against different mobile platforms
-Work in a distributed team, either from our office in Stockholm or from home
