The Consultant role
As a consultant you may be placed at different customers. UCG will assist with extra training when needed. As a consultant we need you to be flexible and to easily adapt to a new environment.
Education/training
Our roles requires a basic technical education, sometimes university level.
Experience
We require at least 3 years of relevant job experience for all roles, mostly more.
Required experience for this role:
• Test manager with several years of experience
•Good cooperation/networking abilities
• Good writing and verbal skills in both English and Swedish
• Experience from project management, coordination or test management
• Experience from automotive development, preferably within engine/aftertreatment or embedded software
• Master of Science in mechatronics, electrical engineering, computer engineering or similar (or equivalent qualification)
Work language: English and Swedish


Meriting:
• Experience of Automotive Industry is highly meritable
• ISTQB certification is meritable


Your tasks:
•An object test leader is the main interface between test organisation and powertrain control projects.
Main deliveries
•To plan and coordinate vehicle operational testing (OTI/Field test) of engine and aftertreatment control software according to the company PD-process and Embedded Systems Release Process
•Write test reports and set recommendation for production based on test results
Other work issues
•Support functional developers when setting requirements on vehicle verification/validation
•Set the validation test plan according to requirements from functional developers, with focus on software validation in vehicle
•Compile the vehicle test need (vehicle need) in verifying/validating operational testing regarding engine/aftertreatment management system
