UCG/Radio Support is a consulting company based in Kista in northern Stockholm. Regardless placement you will be employed by UCG, with Swedish salary and benifits.
The Consultant role
As a consultant you may be placed at different customers. UCG will assist with extra training when needed. As a consultant we need you to be flexible and to easily adapt to a new environment.
Education/training
Our roles requires a basic technical education, sometimes university level.
Experience
We require at least 3 years of relevant job experience for all roles, mostly more.
Required experience for this role:
• Knowledge about the Android framework and Hardware abstraction layers
• Experience of Linux and/or Android systems running on Qualcomm
• Knowledge of HW bring-up and Autosar.
• Thorough knowledge about embedded Linux systems and Android.
• Excellent C/C++ and/or Java programming skills
• Experience of agile development and continuous Integration.
• Tools like GIT, Gerrit, Jira, RTC etc
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
Nice to have
• Skills in the area of hypervisors (QNX).
About the position
-Embedded Software Developer for Hardware bring-up
-Our client needs to enforce their Android Automotive development team.
-They are working with the integration of Android Automotive on their Infotainment Systems. These systems are increasingly becoming a vital part of the driver/passenger experience with richer functionality such as navigation, multimedia, security, internet connectivity and smartphone integration. Much of this provided by Google, but hardware bring up with associated hardware abstractions layers (HAL) and additional extensions/services/apps are developed by the client.
-The coming systems combines the infotainment screen with the instrument panel, Android runs hypervised/virtualized and is highly integrated with the vehicle computer.
- Working in international teams, distributed all over the world.
