UCG/Radio Support is a consulting company based in Kista in northern Stockholm. Regardless placement you will be employed by UCG, with Swedish salary and benifits.
The Consultant role
As a consultant you may be placed at different customers. UCG will assist with extra training when needed. As a consultant we need you to be flexible and to easily adapt to a new environment.
Education/training
Our roles requires a basic technical education, sometimes university level.
Experience
We require at least 3 years of relevant job experience for all roles, mostly more.
Required experience for this role:
- Relevant experience from software development in a Linux Android based embedded system
-Knowledge of HW bring-up and the Android framework
-Previous experience programming C/C++ and/or Java
-Experience of Linux and/or Android systems running on Qualcomm
-Experience with modern development methods such as agile and CI/CD
-Fluent in written and spoken English
Meritous:
-Swedish
-Experience of Git, Gerrit, Jira, RTC
-Skills in the area of hypervisors (QNX).
-Knowledge in domains like audio/displays/multimedia/connectivity/GNSS/VHAL.
-Experience from CAN communication, VHAL and Autosar.
About the position
- you will develop software for embedded Android Linux systems
-You will be part of a team working with Android Automotive. Specifically, there are work-packages in the area of HW bring up.
-The Android HALs and underlaying layers are in focus. Major aim is to bring up a demo platform reusing assets and work from projects with similar Qualcomm SoCs.
