UI Artist - Toca Life World

UI Artist - Toca Life World

Arbetsbeskrivning

Would you like to be the one responsible for the User Interface of an app loved by millions of kids across the world?

As the UI Artist for Toca Life World you’ll work on improving the user journey, making important quality of life updates that will be appreciated by all our fans. You’ll make sure Toca Life World has an easy to understand user interface that resonates with our audience and is coherent with our art direction, but at the same time adding the fun and quirky element to it.

What you’ll be doing

You’ll work on all sorts of UI across the app - anything from developing UI for new features and updated systems, to improving the existing interface as well as working strategically to make sure we have a coherent and easy to use interface for the players overall.

You’ll be a hands-on contributor to the everyday production, working together with UX, Art, Programming and QA to create an even better experience for our players. Your knowledge in accessibility standards and kids specific needs as well as an eye for quirky details in the interface will be an asset to the team.
Is this you?
You’re an experienced UI artist who has worked with mobile apps before. You understand that the UI for mobile is different from that for web, or other types of (larger) screens. You’ve worked with multiple apps, and perhaps even games.

You have experience with animation for button states, micro interactions, onboarding and so on. You’re used to working with programs such as Adobe After Effects, Adobe Animate and Unity, as well as Adobe Illustrator.

You believe in the power of play! Ideally you have been working with kids and teens as your target group in the past.

-
We want to see examples of UI art and HUD design you have created. We are interested in attention to detail and especially art for touch screen interfaces.

-
We would like to see examples of Iconography

-
We want to see that you have an understanding of accessibility needs in color and contrast and so on
