Unique,one time family for great au Pair..

Antal barn: 2 plus 2 on the go Var: Centrala Hawkes bay We also have a Labrador called Wilber who is 3 and very friendly.I am a stay at home mum, so am around the house a fair bit, but expect to be busy with the twins for the first few months until we establish a routine that works for us all.I do not expect you will be left alone to care for all four children. We are a farming family who live rurally, but are not too far away from the conveniences of town.The farm is a mix of cattle and sheep, cereals and processed vegetables.The farm is busy all year round and both children love to be taken out to see what is going on.Walks around the farm pushing a stroller will be a part of the position. We are an active, outdoors family and expect our children to be actively engaged in play the majority of their time.No television or computer games etc!We have a large back yard for the children which we will be developing for them throughout this coming year.We attend a music and playgroup session in town one day per week which we would eventually take all of the children to together. David is a happy active little boy who enjoys being in his sandpit, riding his peddle tractor and pretending to do farm jobs and fix things.He has a friend, Jack, who lives down the road and they have regular play dates together. David attends kindergarten one day per week and will start swimming lessons toward the middle of the year.Hannah is a bubbly out-going little girl who loves attention.She is also happiest when outside in the sandpit or pretending to drive the lawn mower.This summer she has discovered swimming in our back yard pool and just loves it. As a former Kindergarten teacher and manager of Early Childhood Education centres I have a keen interest in all areas of my children's development and well being.As well as becoming self confident, independent, out-going children we expect them to behave well and have set age appropriate boundaries and rules for them.We have consequences for inappropriate behaviour which we expect all adults caring for them to enforce.We also expect our children to show respect for those caring for them and will ensure this happens. Hugh and I have both travelled and worked overseas, and have many great memories from our time away from home.The jobs we held which afforded us the travel were a huge part of the whole experience.We are committed to making this an exiting and worthwhile experience for our Au Pair.
