On behalf of the client, we are looking for you who want to work as a sub-consultant in this assignment.

Asignment Description
As a material planner you will play a vital role to secure material availability and improve performance from our global supplier base to our factory in Västerås.

Responsibilities


• Collaborate with suppliers and category team to obtain the best possible supplier performance in terms of supplier on time delivery, lead time, and flexibility.
• Track material deliveries from supplier. Identify, manage and prevent short and long term material shortages from suppliers
• Communicate closely with production planning and sales to mitigate impact of potential material shortages
• Work with supplier base and category team to secure supplier capacity and flexibility to meet market and production forecasts
• Monitor supplier performance (OTD, Lead time, Collaboration).
• Develop and lead action plans together with supplier and category team to improve supplier performance.
• Manage and develop inventory strategies to optimize balance between service level, flexibility and inventory turnover

Qualifications



• University degree in Engineering, Economics or logistics
• Experience in procurement / sourcing / supply chain / material planning / inventory planning or related fields
• Excellent communication and presentation skills. Fluent in English (Swedish is an advantage)
• Analytical, target-oriented and structured approach to solving problems and delivering to target.
• Experience in SAP MM Module is a strong advantage
• Proficiency with MS Office and Excel (Power BI is a plus)
