Vehicle Analyst - Control

The Vehicle Analysis group within the Chassis Strategies & Vehicle Analysis department develops, secures, and verifies complete vehicle features in the areas of active safety, durability, transport -efficiency by use of complete vehicle simulations. We have close co-operation with the design and test departments, and perform work for all Volvo GTT development sites.

For project assignment ? 6 months with location at site Gothenburg we are now looking for a:
-Vehicle Analyst ? Control, Vehicle Analysis (BF72991)

Task and Responsibilities:
As a Vehicle Analyst you will in a team take part in the development of vehicle control systems:

-Develop complete vehicle models for evaluation of interacting control systems.
-Develop vehicle dynamic test scenario descriptions.
-Evaluate vehicle dynamic performance in projects.
-Establish a quality assured development process for control systems including management of submodels and data libraries, generation of real time models for HIL/SIL and driving simulators.

Your main tools will be Matlab, Simulink, SimMechanics, ADAMS, Nastran.

Profile and qualifications:
-MSc degree in Automotive Engineering
-Detailed knowledge of current EBS(Traction/drag torque control, Brake
-Blending, Yaw Stability Control, Roll Over Protection, ABS..) functions in trucks
-Detailed knowledge of EBS communication with other ECUs on CAN
-Experienced in current electrical architecture TEA2+
-Experienced in analysis of control systems and signal processing
-Experienced in product data management systems
-Knowledgeable in structural dynamics
-Fluent in English, both spoken and written
-Structured and analytical with a drive to work on your own initiative
