Verification Engineer

Electrical and Electronics Engineering in Gothenburg delivers products and solutions to all truck brands within the Volvo group. The Entertainment Functions & Electronics group is now recruiting a Verification Engineer.

You will work in our subsystem integration and verification team. The team is a key resource to secure quality in our infotainment deliveries to our customers, the brands. The verification activities are done in simulated test environments as well as in real vehicles. Your network will be colleagues and suppliers from around the world.

Responsibilities:

· Build test cases based on requirements and execute tests on a subsystem level

· Develop and update our test rigs and equipment

· Develop and maintain automatic test scripts

· Review and validate future infotainment concepts from a verification perspective

· Report and document test results


Qualifications:

· University degree in electronics or computer engineering

· Test, verification and validation experience on embedded or distributed systems

· Experience of Automotive communication concepts

o CAN/LIN

o Network analyzing tasks using CANoe/CANalyzer

· Programming/ scripting of test cases or similar

· Merits but not a must

o HMI verification

o Mobile OS application development or testing (Android, iOS etc)

o Ethernet based communication in automotive applications
