Anywhere, any weather, any depth, -world leading offshore technology GVA is a world leading marine and offshore design company for semi-submersibles and other floating units.Over the years GVA has executed more than 100 projects in more than 20 countries.The company has its origin in GVA shipyard where the GVA series of semi-submersibles originally was developed and fabricated.Based on the experience of well over 100 engineers deployed within conceptual design, naval architecture, structural design, marine and drilling systems, GVA provide high-value design solutions to each and every project.GVA has a strong customer base including many of the largest Oil and Gas companies in the world.GVA.with global Headquarters located in Gothenburg, Sweden, is a wholly owned subsidiary of KBR.Position The Senior Instrument Engineer will be a part of the EIT & HVAC department and will be reporting to the Group Manager.The primary responsibilities will include: Instrument ship and offshore design.Instrument design according to classification rules.Instrument design within 2D and 3D design, using tools like PDMS, Tribon/AVEVA marine, ProEngineer and Auto CAD.Instrument databases Fire and GAS detection system Independently applies advanced engineering techniques, makes decisions on engineering problems and methods.Provides technical guidance to designers and less experienced engineers.Communication system Profile The ideal candidate has qualifications and competencies which primarily include: Holder of at least a M.
