Anywhere, any weather, any depth, -world leading offshore technology GVA is a world leading marine and offshore design company for semi-submersibles and other floating units.Over the years GVA has executed more than 100 projects in more than 20 countries.The company has its origin in GVA shipyard where the GVA series of semi-submersibles originally was developed and fabricated.Based on the experience of well over 100 engineers deployed within conceptual design, naval architecture, structural design, marine and drilling systems, GVA provide high-value design solutions to each and every project.GVA has a strong customer base including many of the largest Oil and Gas companies in the world.GVA.with global Headquarters located in Gothenburg, Sweden, is a wholly owned subsidiary of KBR.Position The Senior Electrical Engineer will be a part of the EIT & HVAC department and will be reporting to the Group Manager.The primary responsibilities will include: Preparing quotations, concept development, regular projects and mechanical completion.Electrical design for offshore units.Electrical design within 2D and 3D design, using tools like PDMS, Tribon/AVEVA marine, ProEngineer and Auto CAD.Electrical calculations.Responsible for design, specification and services related to electrical and electronic systems.This includes power generation, transmission and distribution, power systems performance and control, cabling and wiring, lighting, motor control centers, communication systems, cathodic protection, grounding lightning protection, heat tracing etc.Electrical design according to classification rules.Profile The ideal candidate has qualifications and competencies which primarily include: Holder of minimum a M.
