Right now, we’re looking for a business-savvy and inspiring Vice President and Head of Global Sales for Applied Manufacturing Technologies (AMT) – a new division within the Sandvik Group. Within AMT, we’re building a suite of digital solutions across the manufacturing value chain, and we combine the enthusiasm of a fresh start-up with the resources, tools and investment support of a well-established industry player. What about the job?
With senior experience and excellent skills in sales analytics, you accelerate the sales strategy for our digital offering, and you create a world class toolbox including systems, methods and ways of working. You’re a major key in our future growth, and you unlock significant business value and identify revenue generating opportunities for AMT – important factors to position us far above competition.
Account Management is a big part of your mission, and you coordinate networks with our customers and stakeholders to collect insights and understand the challenges they face. By doing so, you find new sales channels and create collaborations where we can implement our digital offering in solutions from machine tool builders right from the very beginning. You also strategically look at forecasts, trends, improvements and deployment, and you work closely with the team and our business units to transform and increase performance in our sales operations models. All in all, you support us in taking informed business decisions and enhancing the full scope of our sales operations.
You lead and inspire our experienced sales team, and you report to the President of AMT. Naturally, you’re a valued member of the division management team, with a high exposure to other parts of the Sandvik Group. The location for this position is flexible within Europe and with our headquarters at Epicenter in Stockholm, you spend a lot of time in Sweden, although other global travel is also included.


And, more importantly, what about you?
You have senior experience from the field of global sales and from operating in a corporate, industrial software setting. You’re skilled in identifying opportunities and new business models, with a proven track record of working with integrating digital solutions in manufacturing. As a true leader, you have the ability and desire to develop both people and teams, and you easily navigate in decentralized and cross-functional environments.
On top of this, you need:
Solid understanding of Industry 4.0 
Advanced negotiation skills
Experience from sales automation
Excellent communication skills in English

Your strong business acumen always lets you keep a cool head, and you challenge us to make things happen on the big scale.
