As VP Procurement, you’ll take the reins of a high-impact role where your leadership drives cost efficiency, sustainability, and operational excellence across the SAS Group. Challenges you will work on:
· Full responsibility for managing, developing, and optimizing the sourcing needs and processes within SAS group. You’re responsible for all supplier and sourcing related issues across the organization.
· Continue to strengthen SAS competitiveness and profitability by minimizing total costs, meanwhile securing high-quality service to the wider business.
· Set relevant and high targets for the sourcing function to deliver each budget year (E.g. cost efficiency, cost avoidance, sustainability and safety targets).
· Build and develop strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, and relevant strategic suppliers
· Responsible for the sourcing governance and purchasing board.
· Build, develop and maintain a high-performing procurement team


The Team
You will be the lead of a high-performing and diverse team composed of 10 direct reports and in total 40+ talented professionals across sourcing, contract management, facility management, and SAS corporate security. In this role, you report directly to our CFO.

To be successful, we believe you have
· 20+ years of relevant experience in general business management where sourcing is part of a successful and proven track-record: Ideally experience from different industries of leading >5 Billion SEK organizations across multiple categories.
· Excellent skills in stakeholder management, procurement, negotiating complex contracts, and a proven track record of driving change in a complex and international business environment. Your ability to collaborate, influence and challenge internal and external stakeholders will be crucial to succeed.
· Deep knowledge of category management processes
· Experienced people leader, able to build and lead a high-performing team
· An adaptive, strategic, challenging, and innovative mindset
· Fluent in English – spoken and written
· Bachelor or Master’s degree in Engineering, Economics, Business Management or related field, preferably specialized in Purchasing or Supply Chain
