Warehouse Manager
We are looking for an effective Warehouse Manager to direct receiving, warehousing, and distribution operations. You will oversee the efficient receipt, storage, value-adding servicing, and dispatch of a wide variety of products. Ultimately, you should be able to ensure productivity targets are achieved and that all warehouse processes are running smoothly and promptly.
Responsibilities
Ensure the process of managing the materials and spare parts necessary to fill the job order, as well as the management of permanent materials. Oversee receiving, warehousing, distribution, and maintenance operations. Setup layout and ensure efficient space utilization. Ensure the management of warehouse dispatch operations based on requests from site.
Guarantee the optimization of the stocks of materials and spare parts through punctual analysis of the minimum stock and reorder levels. Ensure the maintenance, conservation, and traceability of the material, guaranteeing storage in suitable, environmental conditions to prevent deterioration, damage, or loss as well as the safety of the persons involved in the physical management of the same.
Carry out inventories of materials and spare parts and the verification of any inventory differences. Ensure correct accounting records for all warehouse movements and related reporting.
Requirements and skills
Proven work experience as a Warehouse Manager. Expertise in warehouse management procedures and best practices. Strong knowledge of warehousing Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and of SAP system.
Preferably a BS degree in logistics, supply chain management, or business administration.
