WARRANTY ANALYST

Manpower Professional is the leading recruitment company in Sweden.We are located at over 60 cities and have 55 years of experience of recruitment.For our customer, a larger international company in the manufacturing industry in the Trestad area (Trollhättan, Vänersborg, Uddevalla), we are looking for a Warranty analyst for employment directly at this company.Job description As Warranty analyst you will be finance expert in analysing warranty costs in different ways.You are responsible for this area and work will be carried out independently.You belong to the Commercial Finance Aftersales-team but also work closely with the warranty and the quality department.Your assignment includes analysis in several areas: * Budget determination for different warranty costs and support to the Warranty department in budgeting.* Forecastning, warranty and policy accruals on a monthly basis.Providing variance analysis and input for cash flow and currency forecast.* Input to Business Case Analysis for top markets and future products.* Reserve analysis, estimation of total reserve need, life time cost estimate.You will also be responsible for reconciling warranty, balance accounts and creating journal vouchers for reserve adjustments in the book closing.You will work with information from SAP, warranty and quality systems and you often populate templates and work on a daily basis in Excel.This position gives you a possibility to work both as an expert and with a wide responsibility.You will also have the opportunity to be included in a professional finance department in an interesting development stage.Vem är du?We are looking for a person with a University degree in Industrial economy, Business administration or similar economy education, preferably with a major in accounting.You have at least 2-5 years of professional experience.As a person you are independent and have the authority to be able to take on this responsibility.You are skilled with numbers - used to working with extensive Excel files but also have the ability to see the organisation in a total perspective.As a person, you have a high analytical ability and appreciate problem-solving.You have a high service level and a good business understanding.In a changeable environment, it is important to be sustainable and flexible.You have good IT skills (Office package) and, above all a high level of knowledge in Excel.Experience of working in SAP is meritorious.You speak and write both English and Swedish fluently.
