HVDC (High Voltage Direct Current) is a business unit within Hitachi ABB Power Grids, located in Ludvika. The unit develops, manufactures and sells DC transmission systems on a global market. This Hitachi ABB Power Grids developed HVDC technology is used to transmit electricity over long distances and for power transmission via submarine cables. HVDC is also used to connect power systems.
Join our Sales & Orders department within HVDC Valves. We manage tenders and deliver electric power converters and optic measuring devices for HVDC and GPQS applications.
Your responsibilities
As a warranty project manager you will be responsible for the returns of Valve and DOIT equipment from our installed base within GPQS and HVDC.
Deliver and plan service orders according to committed scope, time schedule and budget.
Structure and drive communication towards customer for returns and quality queries.
Work closely and communicate with our engineering, product management, purchasing and production functions.
Continuously work on further improving our processes and quality assurance

Your background
Project management experience and/or a business- or engineering degree
Experience of working with SVC or HVDC applications
Good knowledge in the Office package and SAP
You are structured, driven and like to continuously improve processes and come with new ideas.
You should thrive in a position where you have the opportunity of creating networks, cherish human relations as well as working independently towards clear deadlines.
Enjoy finding creative solutions in order to deliver efficiently to high quality
Fluent in both English and Swedish, written and spoken alike
