Wayne Fueling Systems is now looking for a business oriented Product Manager with a strong commercial focus, and with experience from payment solutions.

Position Summary:
Wayne Fueling Systems, a global leader in fuel dispensing, payment processing and point of sale technology, is seeking a Product Manager for our European payment products. This would involve managing product line performance, executing the product strategy, NPI, and determining end-of-life for legacy platforms. The position will be based in our Malmo Sweden facility or in one of our existing global facilities.

Among your responsibilities as Product Manager you will have a very central role in leading customer oriented projects. You will be working closely together with various stakeholders internally e.g. sales or technical development.

Position Responsibilities:
• Ongoing product line management for European Payment Products to include including executing the EOL strategy for legacy platforms, pricing changes and introduction of new features/updates to the product mix.
• Manage product life cycle and own/develop the strategic plan for NPI (New Product Introduction?)
• Own/deliver key financial product line parameters including margins, standard costs and warranty, sales forecast, etc.
• Assistance to Sales with developing price quotes – investigating model costs, calculating margins
• Drive Voice of Customer (VOC) market research; correlate VOC output to define product specifications
• Identify product opportunities for future consideration and prioritize them for development, partnership and/or acquisition
• Investigation of market opportunity, technology assessment and development of strategy for the product offering
• Determine and prioritize market opportunities based upon customer needs, competition, market trends and technologies
• Monitor industry/technology trends, regulatory drivers and competitive threats
• Interacts with all levels of the organization, including executive level presentations and interface with regional marketing teams on developing/executing product launch plans
• Establish a promotional plan for all products including collateral material, advertising and trade show activities

Profile
You have a strong commercial profile with a Bachelor’s Degree in marketing/engineering or similar. You have several years of work experience in a customer oriented role within technical product management or technical sales. You have worked with payment products/solutions, preferably in the retail industry. Experience from the petroleum industry is a very strong plus.

The position requires good communication skills in English, both written and oral, and you feel comfortable speaking in front of groups.
Willingness to travel abroad on a regular basis is a part of this role.
