We are looking for Embedded Software App Develop

Volvo Group Truck Technology are looking for Function developer / owner within the Electrical & Electronics Engineering department.

Position Description:
You will work in the team responsible for developing Vehicle functionality and strategic ECU software located in Lundby, Gothenburg. Our mission is to deliver world class products in the area of vehicle functionality where we are constantly challenged to provide the best solutions in terms of feature, quality and cost at the right time. You can look forward to an individual and inspiring assignment together with many enthusiastic and professional colleagues. You will in this role be the contact interface/responsible for your functions and have a large network cross-functionally and globally. We are a part of most development regardless of site, market and brand. The group consists of 25 very skilled engineers and a satellite office.

Main responsibilities:
Development of embedded real-time software
Root cause analysing
Manage the release & quality securement process activities
Take part and/or lead reviews of requirement documents, code & specifications
Close continuous cooperation with function development, verification etc.
Be present in all phases of projects
Deliver according to committed QDCF (Quality, Delivery, Cost & Feature)

Required competencies & experience
Fluent in programing embedded real time systems
Fluent in C (C++ is a plus)
Competences in embedded software architecture, design and verification
Experience and knowledge in automotive industry requirement documentation
Broad experience within electronics development in Automotive (and/or Telecom industry)
Experience in CanAlyzer is appreciated
Simulink modelling experience/competence is highly qualifying
Fluent in English, spoken and written
Challenges such as limitations in memory, computing power, etc.
Experience from Implementing automotive embedded systems, preferably systems based on AUTOSAR
Experience from diagnostic standards (such as ISO 14229) and software download principles
Experience from communication protocols such as LIN, CAN and FlexRay
Knowledge of safety standards as IEC 61508 and/or ISO 26262

Personal qualities:

Minimum Years of Experience Required:
Minimum 3 years of experience in the electronics / embedded software area and preferably in the automotive industry.

Minimum Education Required:
Masters degree in in electronics-, software-, computer engineering (or a Master?s degree within similar area).
