Technician with leader ambitions and administrative skills:

Position description:
We are looking for you, that are able to see the big picture and wants to be developed technically through working closely in our team with technical specialists. We have several specification and concept-writers at our group. We want to offer you to write system specifications and understand the process of embedded software development. It will be a huge plus if you are interested in taking leadership and drive the questions given to us, and provide solutions and result together with our technical experts. It is also a plus if you are interested in leading-edge technology and wants to be part of writing the future concepts for Volvo.

The main responsibilities are:
You are expected to take responsibility for the complete picture of our tasks and to provide support for our Technical specialists. You are also expected to work in various roles depending on the project needs. Our specialists will be behind you and provide you with the detailed knowledge around our areas; data security, software download and esw documentation process. You are expected to drive questions, explain technical solutions and make sure our customer always has a hand to reach out for.
You are also expected to write and take ownership of system specifications as well as participate in concept development within our areas.

Qualifications required:
MSc electrical engineering, computer science or similar
You need to be able to express yourselves very well in writing.
Fluent in English, both written and spoken

Additional skills seen as a plus
Good social skills.
Automotive knowledge, preferably within the diagnose area, but not necessary.
Experience from ESW Process within AB Volvo.
