Web Developer

This position is for the Synopsys IT-Europe team, involves web development and support of Windows for Sweden and Denmark.
The scope of this position involves web development of various IT web services, day to day support of Windows, engineering/R&D computing environment located in Sweden, procurement work, as well as working with the IT group supporting the European region.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Building applications using Internet and Windows development tools
Researching, tracking, and understanding new web technologies in order to provide technical leadership in developing service applications
Analyzing business requirements as they pertain to intranet and internet-related systems
Providing written design documents, test plans, and test results
Manages, develops, integrates, and implements related application components including front-end development, server- side development and database integration
Plays a direct role in programming, maintenance, technical support, documentation and administration of the applications
Establishes and communicates standards to manage cost and ensure continuity of applications.



Requirements
BS or equivalent with a minimum of 2-3 years of related experience
Experience in a variety of internal web-based applications, including but not limited to JavaScript, NodeJS/FeathersJS, React/Semantic UI, MongoDB, Microsoft VS
Superb written, inter-personal, and organizational skills.
Ability to multi-task, handle multiple projects, and be responsive to a rapidly changing environment
Able to work well in a team environment and be customer focused



Preferred Experience
Experience with C++, XML, HTML, CGI, ASP, multimedia applications, database interactions and data modeling tools are a plus
