Website Manager Finland - Utrecht or Helsinki
The Website Manager is responsible for the further growth of the web site. This involves managing three disciplines: traffic, web shops and site configuration. The appropriate candidate will be expected to develop and manage multiple customer relations, keep track of developments of and within several important categories on the site and manage and coach a team of 3 employees. The Website Manager is responsible for the budget. You weigh the achievements and targets, develop cost analyses, check the contribution margin and manage the cost per click. In addition to this you draw up, maintain and update a Category Management Plan. This allows you to have a clear overview of the sales funnel, the conversion ratio and the customers (webshops). Besides, you initiate, plan and execute events and campaigns.
You are responsible for the category and sub-category division, you optimize the number and quality of webshops. You try to attract qualitative new shops to the site and develop a sustainable relationship with the contact persons. You also manage and execute the administrative procedures, such as the contracts and use of the financial system.
In order to achieve your goals, you rely on the expertise centers from the International organization (Traffic, Marketing, IT). The aim is to be the market leader in Finland. For this purpose, you keep up with the e-commerce and marketing developments.
Your home base is the head office in Helsinki, Finland or Utrecht, the Netherlands.
Main Tasks :
. Increase the number of webshops in a profitable manner
. Create shared revenue deals
. Responsible for media sales (external agency)
. Manage and execute administrative procedures
. Initiate, plan and execute events/campaigns
. Optimize number and quality of webshops per (sub)category
. P&L responsibility for the (sub)-categories assigned to you
. Create, maintain and update Category Management plan
. Responsible for Category(sub-category) division
. Manage new webshop process
. Traffic acquisition
. Quality of the site (Amount of products, content)
Requirements :
Education / Experience
. Bachelor or Master degree, preferably in Economics or Communication
. The ideal candidate has a background in online retail as website/shopmanager
. Minimum of 3 years of experience in sales, preferably in Internet or similar environment with a good understanding of Internet business models
. Experience in direct sales, working with clients at all levels
. Excellent written and verbal communication skills and presentation skills
. Experience with MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
. Experience with Analytical and/or Statistical software
. You have a proven track record in reaching your targets
. You have the Finnish nationality
. You speak proficient Finnish and English
