On behalf of Yale as a part of the Assa Abloy Group, we are currently looking for a passionate and experienced leader within Software Development, who is motivated by driving and delivering excellent solutions and products to the market.
You as an experienced leader - lead by example; mentoring, coaching but also via strong technology leadership.

Your essential tasks:
Coordinate development across multiple product lines and into the global platform
Responsible for coordinating EMEIA technical development and for leading a team of APP architects, Backend architects and engineers
Line manage the EMEIA Core Platform Team engineering team
Own the initial phases of new product developments
Own the EMEIA Smart Residential technical architecture across multiple product lines
Own the software release processes into the global platform and overall technical quality
Implement engineering processes and support the development of best practice by coaching and mentoring team members.

The skills and experience you need
We expect the ideal candidate to have:
An Engineering Degree in a related discipline for example; Software Engineering, Systems Engineering or Computer Science
Significant experience of leading software engineering teams to deliver into complex systems
Breadth of exposure across software, APP and Backend technologies with strong experience of at least one discipline
Working experience in at least 1 of the systems engineering sub-disciplines, e.g., system architecting and modeling, interface management and requirements/configuration management

Experience working in a multinational company with colleagues in many different countries is ideal, there will be regular travel required across the EMEIA region.
