Yale - ASSA ABLOY is looking for Team Leaders in Malmö and Stockholm

Ready to bring in Your background, experiences and leadership in the role as a Team Leader to one of the Yale product development teams in Malmö/Stockholm?

You lead by example; via mentoring & coaching and via technology leadership. This is an excellent opportunity for you who are tech-savvy, curious, and innovative as well as an inspiring leader.
You will provide both line management skills and “own” the technical developments within your product line (Access Services, Smart Door Locks and Locking Points, Alarms and Surveillance).
You will take an overall responsibility of new products comprising the end-to-end system engineering, App, Backend, Electronic and Firmware components and provide hands-on development experience to your team.
You would also:
Manage on of the “Access Service” / “Smart Door Locks” / “Alarms and Surveillance” product line engineering teams, its resources, knowledge, skills, processes, procedures and tools to align with the current and future needs of the business.
Work with product management, project management, EMEIA Core team and global platform stakeholders, to devise project engineering resource plans and effort estimation for the delivery of new products
“Own” the product technical delivery across multiple projects
“Own” the product system technical designs across multiple projects

The skills and experience you need
We are looking for someone who:
Has an Engineering Degree in a related discipline for example; Software Engineering, Systems Engineering or Computer Science
Has significant experience of leading software engineering teams to deliver into complex systems
Breadth of exposure across software, APP and Backend technologies with strong experience of at least one discipline
Has working experience in at least 1 of the systems engineering sub-disciplines, e.g., system architecting and modelling, interface management and requirements/configuration management
Has experience of formal software development methodologies and toolchains, (SAFe, Agile, JIRA/Confluence, GIT, Jenkins)
If you have previous experience of working directly with consumer electronics, this is valued highly

Ideally, you would also have experience working in a multinational company with colleagues in many different countries.
