Volvo Construction Equipment AB Component Division has the responsibility for development and manufacturing of driveline components to Volvo's construction equipment. Development of electronic systems is also a part of the responsibility. Component Division has app. 1 200 employees. The business is located to Eskilstuna, but manufacturing is also performed in co-operation with other companies in different places. Volvo Construction Equipment AB, Component Division is now looking for: Advanced engineering feature leader - Fuel Efficiency Improved Fuel Efficiency is a continuously increasing demand from our customers and therefore a strategic area for our Advanced Engineering. Within Advanced Engineering future Product-, Production-technology and Engineering methods are developed. The AE-department is responsible for managing the portfolio of AE-activities and fuel efficiency is a key feature. Therefore we are now looking for a feature leader - fuel efficiency to further strengthen our Advanced Engineering team. Responsibility and tasks: Responsible for management of fuel efficiency within component division, initiate and run AE in the fuel efficiency area and propose and evaluate technical concepts that will fulfill the feature demands Keep updated within fuel efficiency area, drive cooperation with other Volvo entities and external partners and secure knowledge sharing Responsible for the component division fuel efficiency development plan including establishing fuel efficiency strategy Define and follow up fuel efficiency requirements in division activities as well as other related KPI:s (Key Performance Indicators) Define, plan and perform verification activities and organize and communicate results and data Support the break down of project prerequisites into measurable targets in term of fuel efficiency Support in establishing global verification and validation plans, including analysis and test activities Manage (collect, structure, compile and communicate) stakeholder input (i.e. from customers, competitors, suppliers) Qualifications: To this position we are seeking a highly motivated individual who meet the following criteria: University degree in Mechanical, Electrical or Mechatronic engineering 2+ years of work experience from development of power train components (engines, transmissions and axels) and/or automotive electronics (control systems, HW, SW) is an advantage Analytical mindset with good organizational ability and coordinating skills Earlier experience of Feature Management for example as feature leader or working in automotive industry with target breakdown is an advantage Experience from systems engineering and requirements management is an advantage Please attach your CV, cover letter, and your University grades to your application.
