Agile Business Exploration Manager

At Fortum, we apply Agile Business Exploration to innovate around services and customer offerings. Built on well-known principles of agile, design thinking and lean startup, our “Exploration Toolbox” is a systematic, customer-centric methodology where we iteratively experiment to generate learnings based on customer feedback

In your role, you will be the owner of this toolbox, with the task to support all exploration teams to apply it effectively in their project work.

In your work, you will be interacting with all business units and business functions across the Consumer Solutions division.

You must have:

- Minimum 3 years of relevant work experience, e.g., innovation, new service development, business development, design thinking, innovation coaching, project management, management consulting

- Minimum 1 year experience from performing agile project work yourself, preferably related to business or service development

- A solid theoretical methodology base, having gone through one or several trainings/courses related to innovation and/or agile business exploration

- Experience from training others in agile methodologies

- Excellent verbal and written English

What you will do:

- Own, refine and develop the methodology playbook for exploration activities

- Help different leadership teams translate their strategy into required exploration initiatives, to define clear project mandates, and to set up (and allocate resources to) cross-functional teams addressing the exploration tasks

- Support business exploration team leaders in work planning and team kickoffs, and thereafter help the teams run through their iterations, sometimes by providing advice and tools from the toolbox, sometimes facilitating workshops, sometimes by acting as an embedded agile business exploration coach within the teams

- Build an internal community of practitioners/experts in agile business exploration

- Facilitate collaboration and experience sharing between exploration teams
